Air Force guard Trevor Lyons, a junior out of Newport News, Virginia, is #20 in the 2016 Mountain West countdown.
The 6-3 guard started each of Air Force’s first 22 games before suffering a season-ending hand injury in late January. In that span, Lyons recorded 15 double-digit scoring nights, a nine assist game against Citadel, and recorded 30 minutes or more in 15 appearances.
Lyons was more efficient, statistically, as a freshman, but the MWC Connection staff projects a solid season for Lyons and the experienced Air Force backcourt. He could very well lead the Falcons offense in scoring the next two years if he can stay healthy.
