The familiar red-dyed flat top of Zylan Cheatham comes in at #19 on the Mountain West top 25 countdown.
Formerly a four-star recruit out of Phoenix, Arizona, Cheatham is now a redshirt sophomore for the Aztecs, and figures to be an imperative piece to the SDSU puzzle with the losses of Winston Shepard and Skylar Spencer this offseason.
Cheatham had a very respectable freshman season, scoring nearly eight points a game in just over 20 minutes of playing time a night. The 6-8 forward is also an excellent defender, logging 2.1 defensive win shares last season and a lights-out 89.
