Former Miami (OH) guard Marcus Weathers will visit Colorado State next week, per CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein.
Weathers, who spent his freshman year with the RedHawks, scored 9.9 points and recorded 5.9 rebounds per game this past season. A savvy 6-5 wing, Weathers ranked 12th in the country in FT rate last year, according to KenPom.
Marcus’ brother, Michael Weathers (also a freshman in ‘16-17), announced that he would be transferring from the university. Michael led the RedHawks with a slash line of 16.4/4.3/4.7 and 3.3 steals+blocks per game, good for the Mid-American Conference Freshman of the Year award.
