Malik Pope announced on Twitter today that he would be withdrawing his name from the NBA draft and return to school for his junior year.

Pope was not invited to the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago. However, he had worked out for a number of teams, including the Clippers, Celtics, Lakers, Jazz, and Suns.
The return of such a dynamic player is obviously a big deal for the Aztecs and makes them the prohibitive favorite to repeats as Mountain West champions.
