Fresno State nose guard Nate Madsen wasn't sure how his switch from defensive end was going to pan out. Two games into the season, Madsen and the coaching staff are more than encouraged by what they've seen. Switching positions on the defensive line is no easy task. Defensive ends in a 3-4 scheme frequently make the move inside to no avail. Fresno State attempting something similar last year, just in reverse, when they moved Tyeler Davison from the nose guard position to defensive end at the start of the season.
