With their third-round pick the Jets selected Georgia linebacker Jordan Jenkins
The Jets needed to add speed, coverage ability and pass rushing ability on their linebacking core. They added speed, coverage and some pass rushing with Darron Lee in the first and they added more speed along with passing rushing with their third-round selection of Georgia linebacker Jordan Jenkins.
Jenkins is an athletic linebacker, who does a great job at the point of attack and using his hands. He can set the edge when defending against the run and does an excellent job of wading through traffic to find the runner and make tackles.
