After a lot of speculation about how Jason Shelley could lead the Aggies offense, there is no longer need for discussion. Per Utah State, Jason Shelley has been dismissed from the team for disciplinary reasons. This comes just a week after Utah State and head coach Gary Andersen parted ways and Utah State will not be playing their game against Wyoming on Thursday night due to an up rise in COVID-19 within the Utah State program. Interim head coach Frank Maile will make not comment on the decision moving forward.
Shelley played in four games for the Aggies after transferring from Utah and was expected to play a big role in replacing Jordan Love.
