Hawaii wrapped up camp with a game like experience for its final scrimmage. The team made it as close to as a real game as possible with a complete officiating crew and going a full four quarters — the final being a running clock — and also game pregame and halftime routines.
The offense got going early on with a pair of touchdowns, but after that the defense stepped up its performance.
"It was very successful, everything from our appreciation of the new turf to the setup of the equipment and the headsets, to the communication by the coaches and the effort of the players," head coach Nick Rolovich said.
