Hawaii hires Montana's Legi Suiaunoa as defensive assistant

Nick Rolovich made another hire to his staff, this time on the defensive side of the ball.

Hawaii head coach Nick Rolovich is slowly filing out his staff and his latest addition comes from 37-year-old Montana defensive line coach Legi Suiaunoa, according to Sports Illustrated's Thayer Evans. Suiaunoa is being hired on as an unspecified defensive assistant for the Warriors; he has served as the defensive line coach for Montana over the previous four years.

Suiaunoa has moved up the ranks starting as a graduate assistant at Nevada in 2004 and then moving up to become Western Washington's defensive coordinator which is a position he held from 2005-08.
