San Diego State might be seeing a different quarterback in the Hawaii Bowl.
Cincinnati Bearcats starting quarterback Gunner Kiel is currently not with the team and there is a possibility he may not play in the Hawaii Bowl against San Diego State. Kiel has not practiced at all this week and he is away from the team due to a personal family matter, and the school made it clear that it is not a legal or disciplinary matter.
The school said they may have an update on Kiel's status on Wednesday, but as of Tuesday his status against the Aztecs is unclear.
