The Mountain West Conference is having a great year in track and field. School records are falling ( see Colorado State), in some cases multiple athletes are breaking the same record in the same meet (see New Mexico and San Jose State). Top-ten all time marks are being made every week. And Mountain West athletes have reached the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Standards. The Olympics are a year away and a lot can happen, but it is possible that multiple current MW athletics will be representing their country next year. Here is the list:
