Rypien has led the Mountain West in passing in each of his first two seasons and should lead the Broncos' offense through the 2018 campaign. A Power 5 offensive coordinator who had Rypien in camp praised the quarterback's arm strength and decision-making. Boise State has some immediate insurance with Rathen Ricedorff, a junior college transfer, but its overall depth is a concern.
