The University of Oregon announced on Thursday that graduate student and basketball guard Dylan Ennis was granted a sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA. Ennis had petitioned the NCAA for the exception to the normal rule of five years of eligibility because of a foot injury he suffered after having only played two games during the 2015-16 season
Accoring to media release, Ennis was granted the sixth year via a Fifth-Year Rule Waiver, "based upon the totality of the circumstances and student-athlete well-being."
Ennis was attempting to playout his final season of eligibility after having transfered to Oregon from Villinova.
