It was a tail of two halves Saturday afternoon in Fort Collins as Colorado State defeated Air Force 87-73. After a terrible first half, the Rams would score 65 points in the second half.
Sometimes, you just need to get off the floor and regroup as a basketball team. For the Colorado State Rams, halftime was a true blessing in their 87-73 victory over the rival Air Force Falcons.
The first half was not pretty for either team, but for the usually sweet shooting Rams it was especially dreadful. The Rams only shot 21% from the field in the first half as they saw themselves trailing 25-22 at the intermission.
