David Parry getting snaps at nose tackle

The fifth-round draft choice from Stanford gets plenty of action Saturday as he pushes Josh Chapman for the starting position.

Two games into preseason, the Indianapolis Colts’ competition at nose tackle appears to be wide open.

Rookie David Parry entered for starter Josh Chapman in the second defensive series of Saturday’s 23-11 home preseason loss to the Chicago Bears at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Chapman had lined up for the initial four snaps, then Parry came in for the next three when the Colts used a nose tackle. The alternating continued.
