Damontae Kazee declares for the NFL Draft

The Mountain West defensive player of the year declares for the NFL Draft.

San Diego State Aztecs defensive back Damontae Kazee has decided to forgo his final year of eligibility and enter the 2016 NFL Draft. The Mountain West defensive player of the year led the conference in interceptions with eight, including one being returned for a touchdown. He also broke up seven passes and forced two fumbles.

Those numbers not only made Kazee the conference player of the year, but he also earned second-team All-American honors from USA Today.
