Colorado State picked up what looks to be their final commitment of the 2017 recruiting class on Saturday, when four-star Georgia receiver Tyler Smith announced his decision to sign with the Rams.
Smith originally committed to North Carolina in 2015 and de-committed from the Tar Heels as recently as May 23. According to a report released in January of this year by CBS Sports, there was a high probability UNC wanted Smith to grey shirt, where incoming freshmen sit out classes until the second semester of their freshman year. Smith certainly landed on his feet with Colorado State.
