The Colorado State Rams are losing redshirt freshman quarterback Coleman Key who has elected to transfer away from the program. The school released a statement from head coach Mike Bobo.
"We appreciate Coleman's time here and his contribution to this team," said Bobo. "He has expressed his desire to pursue other opportunities and we wish him all the best in that pursuit. He will be with us through the bowl game and be part of this team before pursuing those options next semester."
Key was in a competition with eventual starter Nick Stevens and backed him while seeing action in six games.
