The Denver Broncos have inked their 2016 fifth round selection—offensive guard Connor McGovern. The team announced it Monday.
McGovern hails from the University of Missouri and was a college teammate of Broncos linebacker Shane Ray. Ray, Denver's 2015 first round pick, shared some thoughts on McGovern last week.
“The guy works extremely hard," Ray said. "I’ve known Connor for the entire time [we were] at Mizzou because we came in together. He’s a weight room animal. He does everything the coaches ask of him.
