ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Denver Broncos on Thursday signed free-agent long snapper Casey Kreiter to a one-year contract, it was announced.
Kreiter (6-1, 250 pounds) is a first-year player who competed with Dallas during the last two off seasons and participated in a combined six preseason games for the club. He was signed by the Cowboys as a college free agent in 2014 from the University of Iowa.
A former special-teams captain for the Hawkeyes, Kreiter was the school’s primary long snapper during his final three collegiate seasons. He received All-Big Ten Conference recognition following his senior season in 2013.
