The Denver Broncos have re-signed their leading rusher from 2015. Ronnie Hillman returns to the Broncos on a one-year deal, according to sources.
Hillman initially tested the free agent market, hoping for more than what John Elway was willing to pay. Alas, the market wasn't as bullish as Hillman had hoped and thus, over the last week, talks with Denver heated back up.
In 2015, Hillman carried the ball 207 times for 863 yards and seven touchdowns. He also added 111 receiving yards on 24 receptions. The Broncos drafted the 5-foot-9, 195-pound back in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft out of San Diego State.
