When you’re strapped for cash, you’ve got to take chances. The Denver Broncos are about to take some chances.
According to a report from KUSA’s Mike Klis, the Broncos have approached both tackle Ryan Clady and defensive end DeMarcus Ware and have asked both All-Pro talents to take pay cuts heading into the 2016 season.
Ware, who turns 34 in July, is scheduled to make $11.6 million next season. That number may not be sustainable for the Broncos, who, pending the retirement of quarterback Peyton Manning, are estimated to have only $8.
