BREAKING: BarkBoard has learned that Bulldog QB Ford Childress suffered a significant injury during last night's game and had to be taken to the hospital.
Sources tell BarkBoard that following the game with San Jose State last night, Fresno State QB Ford Childress ruptured his spleen and had to be taken to the hospital. A teammate noticed Childress making odd movements on the bus and the trainers were able to get over there and diagnose the problem. We're told that Childress was rushed to the hospital and had his spleen removed, but is expected to make a full recovery.
