Bears re-sign safety Chris Prosinski

The Chicago Bears have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with safety Chris Prosinski.

Prosinski is a five-year NFL veteran who spent his first three-plus years with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He played in 13 games for the Bears last season, including five starts.

In 2015, he posted 31 total tackles, 1.0 sack and 1 forced fumble.

Prosinski was also a staple on special teams. He finished third on the team in special teams tackles (9, per coaches review) behind only Josh Bellamy and Sherrick McManis, with one fumble recovery.
