Arizona Cardinals draft Keesean Johnson

The wait may have been a bit longer than expected, but Keesean Johnson became the first Fresno State player to hear his name called in the NFL draft since 2015. The rangy wide receiver was taken with the first pick of the 6th round, and won’t be going too far away from home for his pro career. After making a slightly puzzling hire of Kliff Kingsbury in January, the Arizona Cardinals organization has gone all in for offensive weapons in the desert. After grabbing Kyler Murray with the 1st overall selection, the Cardinals followed that up with Andy Isabella and Hakeem Butler at wide receiver.
