The Associated Press ranks the best 100 college football teams since its inception.
The Associated Press put outs it top-100 college football teams of all-time, using their criteria of the poll. The AP used poll appearances (one point) to mark consistency, No. 1 rankings (two points) to acknowledge elite programs and gave a bonus for AP championships (10 points).
At the top of the list is of course the blue bloods like Ohio State, Oklahoma and Notre Dame who made up of the top three.
This list only has 100 teams and there are currently 128 at the FBS leave, so lets rip the band-aid off now and say up front that Utah State, New Mexico, San Jose State, San Diego State and UNLV did not make the cut.
