After an 11-2 November, Indiana struggled to end of calendar year.
They were the NBA’s surprise team in November. The Indiana Pacers were scoring and winning with All-Star Paul George leading the way. Small ball was working more often than not with a spread offense continually creating open shots.
But as quickly as 11 wins in 13 November games vaulted the Pacers into the conversation for one of the Eastern Conference’s higher seeds, December delivered a more numbing reality.
Suddenly, the 3-point shots weren’t falling. At one point, the Pacers were second in the league at hitting those long-range shots.
