2018 NFL Draft: Wyoming’s Josh Allen goes to the Buffalo Bills with the No. 7 overall pick

Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen has a new home. Allen was selected by the Buffalo Bills with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft after the Bills traded up from No. 12 to take the 6’5 slinger.

He was the third quarterback to go in this year’s pass-heavy draft behind No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield (Cleveland Browns) out of Oklahoma and USC’s Sam Darnold at No. 3. Allen went 16-9 in his two seasons as a starter for the Cowboys, including an 8-5 record in his final season with Wyoming.
