Jamar Williams-Sheppard is the second runningback commit in the 2016 class along with more highly ranked Deonte Perry. Along with Perry, Jamar is going to try to help fill the shoes that are being left behind by departing senior Tyler Ervin.
Ervin had a record-breaking senior year for San Jose State, and there is going to be a huge void to fill with his eligibility expired. Williams-Sheppard only holds the two offers from San Jose State and UC-Davis, but he has garnered interest from several high quality schools such as Boise State, Cal, Colorado, Fresno State, and San Diego State.
