Everyone is a winner on signing gay, or the schools tell themselves that. Rocky Long and San Diego State focused on the offensive line by bringing in six of them and also focused on athletes with three.
One interesting note is that there were no quarterbacks signed during this class which is odd since most teams want to sign at least one quarterback per class. Perhaps the Aztecs were hopeful that Maxwell Smith would gain another year of eligibility and didn't feel there was a need for a quarterback in this class.
Overall, the Aztecs were in the top third of the conference, and the highest in the West, should keep them on track as one of the better teams in the conference.
