The Spartans star has a chance to secure a critical role along an uncertain Falcons offensive line.
With the 195th pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons selected San Jose State Spartans offensive tackle Wes Schweitzer. The selection is a bit of a surprise, at least by Dan Kadar's rankings at Mocking the Draft, as the 6'4", 300-pound prospect was not listed among his top 300 athletes.
Schweitzer started 38 games for the Spartans, and spent time at both tackle positions in his three years along the SJSU line.
