2016 NFL Draft: Colorado State WR Rashard Higgins declares

Colorado State wide receiver Rashard Higgins announced via social media that he is giving up his final year of eligibility and is heading to the NFL Draft. This is not a surprise. What was a surprise that there was a report earlier this week that said Higgins was considering staying in Fort Collins.

"To #RamNation, I salute you for making my time at CSU unforgettable. There's no place like home and y'all will forever have my heart, but it's my time to #MakeEmBelieve. Although my athletic career here is done, I plan to come back and complete my degree.
