The 'Bows add a local offensive lineman, Josh Hauanio, from Iolani School. The third-team all-state interior lineman bought into the 'Defend Pride Rock' trend and committed to Hawaii.
He also had offers to play for Army, Western New Mexico and Northern Arizona.
However, Hauanio saw himself as a part of the Rainbow Warrior program and when you combined that with his previous connection with coach Chris Naeole it was enough to keep him locked in.
He helped the Iolani Raiders to their 2014 Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HHSAA) state championship; as well as their back to back Interscholastic League of Honolulu (ILH) titles.
