Emanuel Maciel is looking forward to MLS matters getting under way later this month.
“I was very happy with my first season, especially the number of minutes and matches I played,” the 24-year-old from Buenos Aires province said speaking through an interpreter.
During off-season the San Lorenzo loanee had surgery on a hernia problem, which affected his form in the latter half of 2020’s truncated season.
“The hernia problem carried on for a few months and the injury slowed me down. I wasn’t able to perform at the level I wanted to. But I’ve had a full pre-season this year, feel healthy and I’m ready to give my best for the club.
