Led by a rookie head coach, the Fire are struggling to find their rhythm in the attacking third early this season.
The Chicago Fire finished the 2015 season at the very bottom of the table, finishing with a mere 30 points in 34 games played. A lack of offensive firepower, coupled with a disorganized team in defense, led to the Fire posting a goal differential of -15.
However, when the Fire did show some signs of life in 2015, they often came courtesy of David Accam. The Ghanaian winger showed flashes of brilliance in 2015, often burning past defenders with his pace: certainly his most useful skill to the Fire.
