Eagles sign Wentz to extension through 2024

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed franchise quarterback Carson Wentz to a four-year extension, the team announced Thursday. The deal will keep Wentz in Philadelphia through the 2024 season.

The extension is for $128 million and includes guarantees over $107 million, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal can escalate from $128 million to a max of $144 million, according to a source.

Wentz's total deal is now six years for $154 million and can grow to a max of $170 million.
