Bush Moves ‘Home’

Evan Bush, Montreal Impact’s MLS record appearance holder is on the move once again.

After being traded from Quebec earlier this year to ease some goalkeeping problems at Vancouver Whitecaps, his sojourn out west has lasted only a matter of months.

The 34-year-old, an Ohio native was moved to MLS Cup winners, Columbus Crew in exchange for $125,000 US in general allocation money during Major League Soccer’s half-day trade window yesterday.

As part of the deal, Vancouver will retain an undisclosed portion of Bush’s salary.

Bush was traded to the Whitecaps by the Montreal Impact at the end of September after Vancouver goalies Maxime Crepeau and Thomas Hasal suffered season-ending injuries.
