The St. John’s IceCaps have announced they have signed veteran goaltender Yann Danis to a one-way AHL contract.

Danis returns to the Canadiens organization, where he started his professional career after being signed from Brown University. He was with the Habs from 2003-04 to 2007-08 and notably appeared in six NHL games in the 2005-06 season.
From there Danis bounced around three NHL organizations, and even had a top in the KHL.
