When the Montreal Canadiens‘ season started back in October, fans were not entirely quite sure what to expect. As is always the case in Montreal, expectations ranged from blind optimism to Chicken Little screaming the sky was falling.

There were some changes made to the Canadiens’ roster during the offseason and in an interview with TSN’s OverDrive radio show in Toronto at the beginning of the season; Marc Bergevin claimed that he believed his team would be better this season compared to last season.
