The Montreal Canadiens were in the Eastern Conference playoff race until the final weekend last season. This year, however, all the pieces have not fallen into place for the Bleu, Blanc et Rouge, who have endured two eight-game losing streaks, injuries to forwards Jonathan Drouin, Paul Byron, Joel Armia, and Brendan Gallagher, as well as less-than-stellar campaign from goalie Carey Price.
