Every year, a series is played between Canadian and Russian up-and-coming players. Players from Canada are selected from each of the three Canadian Hockey Leagues, the OHL, WHL, and QJMHL. Montreal Canadiens fans should be happy to learn that prospect Will Bitten has been named to team OHL.
The players brought together from the Ontario Hockey League over the years have had a lot of success in this series. They have a record of 23-4-1 over the last 14 years which is not bad to say the least.
Bitten being named to the team just speaks to how well of a season he has had so far.
