If you haven’t heard of Montreal Canadiens prospect Logan Mailloux by this point, it’s fair to assume you have been living under a rock. He entered the 2021 draft as quite a controversial player, renouncing his draft rights; due to his actions during his time in Sweden. Habs then GM, Marc Bergevin ignored Mailloux’s request and still decided to select him.
Fast forward to 2023, and Mailloux has done everything that the league and the Canadiens organization have asked of him; in working towards a chance to redeem himself. He also managed to get back to playing, and produced at an impressive pace with the London Knights, scoring 25 goals, and 53 points in 59 games.
