It’s not often when a top player on a team doesn’t get as much talk as they should. You generally see that with names who play in smaller markets such as Alexsander Barkov or to some extent, Nathan MacKinnon. What’s really odd is when a player in a hockey mecha doesn’t get as much recognition in the NHL, and the Montreal Canadiens have that with Jeff Petry.
Considering it’s Independence Day in the states, it would only be fitting to talk about the Habs best American born player.
Petry really started to turn things up after the 2017-18 season.
