The Montreal Canadiens finally got back in the win column last week after losing eight straight games. Before their losing skid began, we had them ranked second in the Atlantic Division power rankings. That’s about as good as it can get for a team not named the Boston Bruins as they are running away with the division already.
Speaking of the Bruins, they actually lost a couple of games last week, but kept collecting points and are still well ahead of the second place team in the division. That team is the Florida Panthers and a scary thing happened for the rest of the division last weekend (well, maybe no the Bruins) but Sergei Bobrovsky finally played like Sergei Bobrovsky.
