The Montreal Canadiens have signed forward Yannick Veilleux to a one year two-way AHL/ECHL contract.

This is the second contract for the St. Hippolyte, Quebec native who started last season with the Brampton Beast in the ECHL, but once called up to the St. John’s IceCaps in the AHL became a regular part of Sylvain Lefebvre’s lineup.
Lefebvre mentioned numerous times how he appreciated Veilleux’s responsible play, playing alongside rookie Daniel Audette and Bobby Farnham.
