Concussions are never good, whether you are an athlete or an everyday citizen. However, Ryan Poehling getting a concussion now is so disappointing given all the excitement and hype behind what he could’ve done this season. The Montreal Canadiens released the news this morning along with the news that Michael McCarron will be out for about six weeks with a groin injury.
If you watched the Habs first game against the Florida Panthers, hearing of Poehling’s condition may not be too shocking. While trying to advance the puck along the boards, Poehling took a hit from Dryden Hunt.
