Montreal Canadiens prospects were dropping like flies. Alexander Romanov is dealing with an injury, and Jesse Ylönen is nursing ailments while Jacob Olofsson finally returned to the Timrå HK lineup on Wednesday. However, Ryan Poehling’s stood out in a not so special way.
This season looks to be the final one for Poehling as he and St. Cloud State try to fight their way to a championship. Over the summer, the Habs 2017 first-round pick voiced his desire to return to college and rally a victory with his team, so learning of his injury and the possibility that he could miss games because of it didn’t sit well.
