The Montreal Canadiens have announced that they have recalled defenceman Brett Kulak from the Laval Rocket.
Kulak has been the top defenceman for the Laval Rocket this season. He is leading the team in power play points. In 19 games he has three goals and eight assists for Joël Bouchard’s team. Overall he brings experience to the line-up, including 101 NHL games with the Calgary Flames, 136 AHL games, and 39 ECHL games.
He joins the Canadiens to help bolster a struggling defensive corps that is trying to overcome injuries to Shea Weber and now Noah Juulsen.
