It’s been a great senior year for Jake Evans so far. After the Montreal Canadiens selected him in the 7th round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, it was hard to think that he would be this good. 20 games into his final year at the University of Notre Dame and his team is first in the Big 10 while he is leading all players in points with seven goals and 21 assists.
It doesn’t get any better than that right? Well not quite. Now Evans will have the opportunity to represent Canada at the 2017 Spengler Cup.
