It was another loss over the weekend for the Montreal Canadiens. The hope is that will change in California with the team’s first stop being in San Jose. Everyone on the team made the trip, well, everyone except for David Schlemko.
An update came out from Monday’s practice that Schlemko re-injured his hand. The 30-year-old initially sustained the injury on the first day of training camp. The Habs had to place the veteran on injured reserve to make room for the rest of the players on the roster.
It looked like things were turning around for him after playing a game with the Laval Rocket on Friday.
